History

In 1960, Christian Chauveau began working in the artistic make-up field, supervising the make-up program at the IDHEC film school. He also worked as chief make-up artist on different television and film productions in France and abroad.

In 1965, he set up a beauty institute where he offered private classes in make-up application and supervised the make-up program at the Ecole Louis Lumière film school.
Between 1974 and 1984, he gave artistic make-up demonstrations in nearly all of the French Beauty schools and continued to give lessons in make-up application throughout the entire world.

In 1974, he founded his own school: "L'Ecole Technique Privée de Maquillage Artistique"
Thanks to his school and its programs, Christian Chauveau has been an active leader in offering status and recognition to the profession of artistic make-up artist.

In May 2002, the school was moved to new premises.
